Swift's interest in music began when she was a young age. From musicals for kids to appearing in front of crowds, Swift made rapid progress. Swift was 11 years old when she first performed The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match. The following year Swift began to write songs and picked up the guitar. Swift, who took her inspirations from Shania Twain's music and the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of music from the country genre, wrote the songs of her own to convey her experience with alienation. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she turned 13 to devote more time to reaching out to the country music labels.
